Book of Remembrance

  • WELCOME, - You are about to make an entry into a Public Book of Remembrance where you are able to leave a message and light a candle for your loved ones. However, if you have recently lost a loved one - or wish to leave a message for family, friends or neighbours who have recently lost a loved one - you may prefer to make your entry in their own Private Book Of Remembrance.

To check whether a Private Book of Remembrance has been opened you can either click on the Books of Remembrance link in the left hand panel above and browse the listing of activated Books or use our Search Website facility. Entering the surname only will enhance your search results. When a Book is returned its status is indicated by a small book icon - a red cross indicates that you are unable to make any entries until the Book Owner, usually the family member responsible for the funeral arrangements, has activated the Book.

PLEASE CHECK CAREFULLY THAT THE ENTRY YOU MAKE IS IN THE APPROPRIATE BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE.

  • The day you left us ,left a generation empty of a close Friend, Aunt, Cousin & Sister. We all miss you Hayley, but I, Uncle Jim, envy you. You are in a place I am hoping to be if God will allow me. "T" never knew you, but she knows of you, and she would have loved you as we all do. Don't forget us down here, love you lots, xxxx

  • My Daughter Hayley, I miss the way your eyes would twinkle, your smile would brighten the day, your laughter so infectious it would spead through out the room. The roses you loved, the friends you would make, the hallos, hugs and goodbyes. We never knew why or understood why it was you, but God has plans for us all. Your love and caring is always missed, and Christmas never the same. Will always love and miss you Dad.

  • To my daughter Hayley in remembrance of your smile which would light up a room; your eyes which would always register care, you would listen intently and answer eagerly; your heart was so big it would envelope everyone. But special times were always of you and I in the garden, passing the time away, engrossed in each other. I miss you my beautiful rose Mum
